Paulette is a Manchester based artist working primarily in the field of printmaking. Her current practice examines the unearthing of memories through inherited objects. A fingerprint, scratch, or trace of handwriting marks a memory in time, a memory that is personal and dear. Deeply rooted within cataloguing, conservation, and archives Paulette meticulously records the varying marks and handwriting through drawing and intaglio printmaking techniques. 

Bansal is a member at Hot Bed Press,  where her education in printmaking began. This also led to the formation of Reveal Printmakers, a print collective that regularly exhibit together.
